WORST IDEA 5/30/10: BP to try, try again

Now that the "top fill" method has failed, BP has plans for a new, even more ridiculous plan to stop the millions of gallons of oil that are pouring into the Gulf of Mexico. Better yet, the new plan will take four days before we know if it works and if it does work, it won't stop the entire leak. One must question why the giant oil well in the middle of the ocean was not built with an off switch or any sort of fail-safe device. More importantly, perhaps, we should also question how many times we should let these idiots try to solve the problem before we call in the military or, maybe, Aquaman.
