Perhaps we should just accept that every beauty contest contestant has some racy photos somewhere in her background. Apparently, all good-looking women drawn to beauty pageants also like to pose for PG-13 pictures that are not quite sexy enough to be scandalous, but just sexy enough to be news. The latest semi-nude faux scandal comes as pictures of the current Miss USA Rima Fakih competing in a radio station stripper contest. This is apparently disturbing because the existence of the pictures might make it hard for Miss USA to complete her diplomatic duties and meet with world leaders to negotiate treaties. I'm sure, if Miss USA was not such an important intellectual icon to the American people and merely a pretty girl who waves, then these pictures would not be a big deal.
